Two die in car accident

Two persons died and the driver was critically injured and admitted to the Kandy General Hospital when the car in which they were travelling crashed into a private bus parked on the road side at Ambilmeegama Pilimatalawala on May 18 night.

Kadugannawa Police said the group in the car were under the influence of liquor and the driver had lost control of the car driven at a high speed.

The deceased were identified as Sanjeewa Wijeratne,21, and Kumara Premalal,22, of Pilimatalawa.
