Drug dealer arrested

A drug dealer allegedly selling cannabis laced with Madanamodaka, an Ayurveda sex stimulant, among schoolchildren and youths was arrested by Nagoda Police.

The Police also found 400 packets of the drug hidden in his boutique in Unanwitiya, Nagoda.

Police investigations revealed that the drug dealer had carried out the illegal trade for a long time.

The weight of the drug taken into police custody is reportedly about four kgs.

The suspect was to be produced before Baddegama Magistrate yesterday.
