Sipdora schols awarded
The Sipdora scholarship awarding ceremony was organized by the
Kinniya Divisional Secretariat recently.

The programme aims to help students of Samurdhi recipient families
who excelled in 2012 GCE O level examination.
They receive a monthly grant of Rs 1,000 through Samurdhi Banks for
two years until they sit for the A level examination.
The Chief Guest at the scholarship awarding ceremony was Eastern
Province Chief Minister Najeeb Abdul Majeed.
Forty six students from the Kinniya Divisional Secretariat area
received scholarships at the ceremony.
Divisional Secretary C. Krisnenthiran, Planning Director A. C. Musil,
Deputy Director of Education A. Nasuwarkhan and Samurdhi Manager M.
Manaff were present. |
