Dengue alert in Dambulla

Thirty seven dengue cases were reported from the Dambulla and Galewela health divisions during the first four months of this year.

This was revealed at the Divisional Co-ordination Committee meeting held at the Galewela Divisional Secretariat.

A dengue eradication programme has been launched while those found guilty of having dengue breeding grounds will be fined, sources said.
