BTAC annual get together 2013

The annual get together of the Banking Technical Advisory Committee (BTAC) was held recently, at the Sampath Bank Platinum Center in Colombo 07.

Chairman of the Banking Technical Advisory Committee Nanda Fernando Actg. Chief Operating Officer of Sampath Bank welcomed the members and conducted the meeting.

Present Secretary General of Sri Lanka Banks Association, Upali De Silva, Immediate past Chairman Gamini Dharmasiri, DGM, Formerly at Commercial Bank, D M Gunasekera (General Manager - Bank Of Ceylon),. Jegan Dhurairatnam (Chief Operating Officer- Commercial Bank), Reshanka Abayasekara (Former AGM International of Hatton National Bank gracing the occasion together with the Committee attended the event.

The BTAC is a committee of senior representatives of local and foreign banks in Sri Lanka and showcases a vibrant cross section of the banking sector.

The committee members bring in a wealth of experience from various related disciplines and works in line with SLBA to discuss various technical aspects of banking concerns and to promote and maintain a robust banking environment.
