Arpico’s Dolos Mahe Free Shopping, concludes

Dolos Mahe Free Shopping winners

The curtains came down on the grand finale of the Arpico Supercentre New Year Campaign Awards ceremony themed ‘Dolos Mahe Free Shopping,’ which rewarded more than 100 lucky winners of 12 months free shopping and a host of other prizes at the Richard Peiris Auditorium at Navinna in Maharagama, on May 17. During the period of campaign, 100 shoppers had the chance to win free shopping from three months to one year, by purchasing a minimum of three nominated brands such as Coke, Surf Excel, Matic, Maliban, Air Wick, Turkey, Johnson Baby, Keells, Lion Club Soda, Sensodyne, St Clair Tea Pantene, Clean & Clear, Vim, Good Knight, Harpic, Sprite and Nimex from March 15 to April 25, 2013.

The ‘Privilege & Win’ promotion doubled the chances of shoppers’ winnings. By also redeeming privilege points at Arpico Supercentres, valuable gifts such as furniture, refrigerators, home theatre systems and household appliances were won by the shoppers. Privilege holiday partners-Sigiriya Village, Club Palm Bay and Palms Beruwela, offered weekends for 15 lucky families. The shoppers also received an exclusive 30 percent off until May 31. Privilege Silver Members received one additional winning chance, while Gold Members received two additional winning chances.

Chamathka Jewellers provided a chance to 25 shoppers to win valuable jewellery, while the Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card offered additional discounts to all credit card holders.

Marketing Manager, Richard Peiris Distributors Ltd, Ms Surangi Fernando, said that Arpico Supercentres offered its Metropolitan customers a virtual set of realities, bringing in the ambiance, look and feel of a village, abundant with seasonal celebrations in the run up to the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Richard Peiris Distributors Ltd, CEO Michael Andree said, “We are extremely happy the way the New Year campaign took place, as the shoppers had the opportunity of purchasing everything they needed under one roof, while enjoying the chances of winning valuable prizes.”
