Symphony of Malaysian Flavours
Influenced by various cultures from around the world, Malaysian
Cuisine is a symphony of flavours this May 17 to the 26 at the Dining
Room. As a result of historical migrations and Malaysia's geographical
advantage, Malaysia's culinary style is a mixture of Malay, Chinese,
Indian, Thai and Arabian cuisines amongst others, making the cuisine
highly exotic.
As Malaysian Cuisine has become an international food of choice
amongst many diners across the world, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo
transforms its Dining Room dinner buffet from its regular international
theme to a Malaysian one. Malaysian Cuisine as a national cuisine has
evolved through the centuries. Amongst Malaysian staples are rice,
noodles, bread, beef, mutton, seafood, fish, vegetables and tropical
fruits such as durian, rambutan, mangosteen, mango, longan and guava.
With a variety of new distinctively creative flavours all diners can
look forward to a culinary experience like no other. CLC brings to all
its diners an array of aromatic and beautiful dishes that give guests
from across the world an authentic dining experience.
The authenticity of the Malaysian cuisine will be ensured by a team
of Guest Chefs from Kuala Lumpur Saujana Hotel. Chef Ah Teong, Chef Mohd
Khair and Chef Suhaimi fly down from Kaula Lumpur exclusively for CLC's
celebration of Malaysian cuisine. |
