Odel’s own ‘Pashionable People’ adopt street dogs
The example set by Sri Lanka’s celebrity entrepreneur and World
Animal Day Ambassador Otara Gunewardene by adopting a street dog as a
pet has now been followed by many of her staff, who have themselves
‘walked the talk’ of Embark, the community programme she initiated.
Demonstrating that charity does begin at home, at least 15 employees
of Odel have opened their homes to dogs rescued off the street.
They too now qualify to be called ‘Pashionable People,’ a word coined
by Embark to describe those who have made a fashion statement of their
passion for the cause, assisted by numerous collections of clothing and
accessories that bear the Embark label.
Pictured here are some of Odel’s own Pashionable People with their
pet pooches.
