Move to boost youth participatory development

The National Youth Services Council (NYSC), a statutory body under the Youth Affairs and Skills Development Ministry, entered into a partnership agreement with ‘Plan Sri Lanka’, an international child focused community development organization.

The agreement was signed by NYSC Director General Lalith Piyum Perera and ‘Plan Sri Lanka’ Country Director Edward Espey. The partnership aims at promoting the participation of young men and women in country’s development activities by enhancing their skills and capabilities to act as social development agents.
