People's Bank the pioneer in adding the custom of transacting at the
auspicious time of the New Year to the commercial banking arena, this
time also carried out New Year customary transaction ceremonially at all
Branches and Service Centres islandwide.
New Year Ganudenu ceremony organized by People's Bank Mt. Lavinia
Branch to coincide with this occasion was held at the Branch premises
under the patronage of Renuka Jayasinghe, Deputy General Manager (Retail
Banking) of People's Bank and customers received New Year gifts offered
by People's Bank for various deposits made by them.
These New Year gifts offered by People's Bank could be obtained until
April 30 from all People's Bank Branches and Service Centres islandwide.
