Belarus Biz delegation in town
The Belarus Business delegation would visit Sri Lanka and India this
week in a bid to enhance bi-lateral trade and also to invite businessmen
of India and Sri Lanka to set up joint ventures, to get familiar with
the economic potential of the countries and to find business partners.
BelTA quoted the press service of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce
and Industry, saying that the Belarusian delegation would comprise top
managers and representatives of the company. Belarusian businessmen are
expected to meet with businessmen of India and Sri Lanka, to visit
enterprises.
In the city of Colombo, the Belarusian businessmen are expected to
visit the office of the internationally recognized tea manufacturer
Dilmah and the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. An agreement on cooperation
between the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Minsk branch of the
Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is expected to be signed. A
business matchmaking session will be arranged for Sri Lankan and
Belarusian enterprises, said the source.
A presentation of the trade and economic potential and the investment
attractiveness of Belarus and the enterprises, business negotiations
between Sri Lankan and Belarusian businessmen would be held in the
National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka as well.
