New Year baby abandoned inside car

A new born baby was found inside a car at a vehicle park near the Kalutara bo tree on New Year's day. Kalutara - North Police believe that the baby was left by its mother just after birth inside the vehicle.

The infant was taken to hospital immediately.

Kalutara-North Police are attempting to trace the mother of the infant kept at the Kalutara, Nagoda Hospital.

Police believe the infant was delivered inside the car or a nearby place .
