SLF to empower students with leadership qualities

In keeping with it's role Sri Lanka Foundatation (SLF), the centre for leadership, education and training has successfully launched a programme for the development of Leadership skills in school children to empower O/L and A/L students with leadership qualities.

It is a one day workshop focusing on experiential and action learning based leadership to enlighten and expand the knowledge of students to take initiatives at the early stage of their lives. The unique feature of this programme is that they have an opportunity to share their experiences with parents in the evening on the same day with a parent - child interaction session.

SLF community reach focusses on multiple involvements in the community. Above all, this is a significant programme where communities reach each other in the true sense. They are being trained to explore new avenues to contribute to their environment through the newly gained leadership qualities.

Since its launch at SLF, many schools come together as clusters and also individual schools have taken part in this experiential learning exercise at SLF premises in very large numbers.
