Commercial Bank opens in Pottuvil
Pottuvil, made world famous by its Arugam Bay resort, now has
world-class banking facilities following the opening of Commercial
Bank's 230th branch in this picturesque eastern coastal town.

The Pottuvil branch was formally declared open by Commercial Bank
Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody and the Bank's Managing Director/CEO Ravi
Dias, also attended the opening ceremony together with the senior
management of the Bank.
The new branch at Main Street Pottuvil is computer-linked to the
Bank's country-wide branch and service point network.
The automated teller machine at the location is also linked to
Commercial Bank's ATM network of 562 terminals, which is the largest
electronic cash dispensing facility in Sri Lanka.
Commercial Bank is the largest private bank in Sri Lanka, and the
only Sri Lankan Bank to be listed two years consecutively in the world's
Top 1,000 Banks. The Bank has been adjudged the Best Bank in Sri Lanka
by Global Finance magazine for a record 15 successive years.
The Bank has also won multiple awards as the country's best bank from
'The Banker,' 'FinanceAsia,' 'Euromoney' and 'Trade Finance' magazines. |
