WCICI donates training material

required for training of a large number of young girls at the centre.
The WCIC, under successive dynamic chairpersons and committees, have
contributed in many ways to help uplift the economic and living
standards of women in Sri Lanka. Projects such as this are carried out
islandwide including the North and East.
Spurred on by the gigantic changes over the past several years, where
women playing leading roles in various professions, commerce, industry,
politics and also as heads of nations, the
WCIC aims to encourage entrepreneurship and to recognize women for
their achievements in all spheres of activity. |
