Third outright win for Sebastanites

A match bag of 10 for 59 (5 for 13 and 4 for 46) by Danusha Indunil
helped Sebastanite Cricket Club to defeat Matale Cricket Club by nine
wickets in their inter-club division one tournament cricket match for
the Sara Trophy conducted by Sri Lankan Cricket and played at Police
Park, Colombo.
Incidently this is their third outright victory in five outings with
one first innings win and one loss.
Taking the first lease visitors were all out for 190 runs with an
unbeaten 65 by Roshan Wijenayake and Buddhika de Silva scored 60 runs
and Pubudu Ranaweera claimed 3 for 77.
In reply Sebs made 276 runs with Chamara de Soysa making the top
score of 62 runs and Sadun Bandara captured 5 for 89. In their second
essay Matale lads were bowled out for 147 runs with Amila Kagarachchi
and Roshan Wijenayake scoring 50 runs each. Set to make 62 for an
outright win Sebs notched up the required score for the loss of one
wicket.
