Development plan for Matara Sanasa Union

The Matara District Sanasa Union has taken measures to implement a five - year development plan in the district.

The enhancement of assets of the Matara District Sanasa Union, computerising accounts of all Sanasa Banks in the district, the establishment of a separate unit to recover outstanding loans, computerising accounts of 200 Sanasa Banks with deposits of over Rs10 million, setting up an internal audit unit, the provision of a special uniform for all these employees in the district, effecting a formal transfer scheme for them, setting up of cluster banks, implementation of a similar salary scheme for all these employees, according to the Co-operative Employees’ Commission and also on the financial position available at the bank are included in this plan, Deputy General Manager (Education) of the Matara district Sanasa Union, H B Chandrasiri said.
