Guidelines for Deyata Kirula visitors

Ampara District Senior Superintendent of Police Ajith Rohana issued several guidelines to the public planning to visit the Deyata Kirula – 2013 national exhibition which is to be held in Ampara from tomorrow.

SSP Rohana said people planning to visit the exhibition should ensure the security of their homes before leaving while they should park their vehicles in car parks reserved for Deyata Kirula vehicles.

A shuttle service will be deployed from vehicle parks to the exhibition premises. Drivers should also obey road rules, he said.

He requested the public to contact Ampara Division OIC (Traffic) Inspector Priyantha Bandara on 072-8366656 or Ampara Police OIC (Traffic) Inspector Jayalath on 077-2651728 or 063-2222321 during a road accident in the Ampara district.

He requested the public to refrain from carrying several hand bags.

SSP Rohana requested the public to keep a piece of paper with their mobile phone number and address written on it.
