Red Devils emerged champions beating Avengers 14 points to eight in the final and walked away with the WNS Basketball championship shield when the tournament concluded at the Otters Aquatic Club basketball court recently.

WNS is one of Sri Lanka’s leading off shoring service provider in the fields of finance, accounting and legal services, serving a large international clientele with over 600 professionals.

The company basket ball tournament is the most eagerly awaited event of the calendar owing to its festive gala nature which has been consistently maintained since its inception in 2007. Red Devils booked their final berth by beating Pirates 14 points to four in the semi-final match while Avengers qualified for the finals defeating Fantastic 7 by five points to one in the other semi-final.

This year 16 teams from the company participated in the tournament acompanied by their own cheering squads who added extra glamour to the event.
