A sparkling 215 runs by Dinesh Sanjaya which consisted of thirteen fours and twenty one sixes and occupying the crease for 212 minutes and facing 145 balls enabled Matugama Sports Club to beat Moratuwa Sports Club on first innings in their inter-club Sara Trophy cricket tournament match conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket and played at Matugama.

Batting first visitors declared at 298 for 5 with former Vidyalian Chatura Hemakumara scoring 126 runs which included nineteen fours and three sixes occupying the crease for 161 minutes and facing 123 balls. Indika Massalage and Lakshan Perera scored 50 runs each.
