Lankan maid's body found on Beruit road

A Sri Lankan housemaid was found dead in Lebanon. The Police found her body on a street in Beruit.

The deceased was identified as Dilika Perera, 32, of Thoduwawa, Mahawewa by her friends in Beirut. Perera's friends informed about her death to the Police and relatives in Mahawewa.

Perera had been in Lebanon for over eight years. She had been employed in offices and houses.

Her relatives in Thoduwawa said Dilika phoned them on March 2.

Perera's relatives lodged a complaint with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.
