World Youth Conference to be held in Sri Lanka

The World Youth Conference 2014 will be held in Sri Lanka. Youth Affairs and Skills Development Ministry and the External Affairs Ministry will organise the conference under the theme 'Millennium development goals and Sri Lanka's responsibility for fruitful and meaningful youth contribution in employment for 2015'.

United Nation Millennium Campaign United Nations Adviser Ravi Karkar visited Sri Lanka to examine the arrangements for the conference.

A discussion in this regard was held between Karkar, Youth Affairs and Skills Development Minister Dullas Alaghapperuma, Ministry Secretary K A Thilakaratne and Additional Secretary Nilanthi Sugathadasa at the Youth Affairs and Skills Development Ministry recently.
