Illegal migration attempt foiled

Puttalam Police arrested eight persons who were hiding in a house in Megoda Kiral Oya, Haladiya planning to illegally migrate by boat early yesterday morning.

The suspects, residents of Jaffna and Vavuniya were produced before the Puttalam Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
