People's Bank awards three cars

People's Bank "Jaya Sri 2012" the year-end Grand Draw and monthly draw for the month of December was carried out recently at the People's Bank Staff Training College Auditorium under the patronage of Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar.

As part of the Grand Draw, winners were chosen and awarded 3 brand new Honda Civic cars. In addition, for the monthly draw for December 2012, the winner of the 1st prize was awarded a Micro Panda car or a TAFFE tractor respectively. Subsequently, winners of the 2nd prize were presented with 48 24" LED TVs and as consolation prizes, 1020 mixer grinders were given away.

The People's Bank "Jaya Sri 2012" scheme was carried out in two segments which was the monthly draw and the Grand Draw.

In order to be eligible for the monthly draw, one should maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000/- in any savings (other than minor) or current account of People's Bank for a period of one month. In addition, to be eligible for the Grand Draw, one should have maintained a minimum balance of Rs. 50,000/- as at December 31 2012. The Corporate and Executive Management of Peopel's Bank were also present at the event.
