Lahiru steer De Mazenod with unbeaten century

A magnificent unbeaten 142 runs by Lahiru Wickramasinghe which consisted of seventeen fours and two sixes, facing 140 balls and occupying the crease for 198 minutes while associating a tenth wicket partnership of 101 runs with Crisha Sanjula who scored 29 runs enabled De Mazenod College, Kandana to score 220 runs in their inter-school under 19 cricket match against St Sebastians College, Moratuwa played at Kandana.

Avishka Fernando was the most successful bowler for Sebs with 3 for 16. While Kusal Lakthilina and Pramesh Fernando grabbed two wickets each.

At the end of day one, Sebs were 56 for 2 with Gayan Silva and Sangeeth Cooray were at the crease with 22 and 23 runs respectively.
