Mahela Udawatte stars in Tamil Union win
Mahela Udawatte (124) steered Tamil Union to
three-wicket win over Badureliya Sports Club in the fourth match of
the Premier League, which concluded at P Sara Oval yesterday. The
26-year-old opener scored an unbeaten 124 runs putting on a 112-run
partnership for the opening wicket with Ashen Silva, who hit 40.
Left handed Udawatte hit a dozen fours when Tamil Union reaching 243
target in 43.3 overs.
