No decision at Katugastota

Heavy rain forced a 'No Decision' in the inter-school cricket match between St Anthony's College, Kandy and Vidyartha College at Katugastota yesterday.

Only 26 overs were sent down during day and the Antonian batted for a further 12 overs before declaring at 161 for 6 in 49.5 overs.

Vidyartha College in their turn at the wickets made 32 for 2 in 14 overs before heavy showers washed off further play. The match was finally called off at 5 pm.
