Teen thief arrested

A 14 - year - old student who allegedly broke into a communication centre in Yakkalamulla and stole 11 mobile phones, a digital camera, a stock of reload cards and Rs 35,520 was arrested by the Police on Sunday.

The stolen property was seized from his possession.

The suspect, a resident of Uduwella produced before the Baddegama Magistrate's Court was ordered to be detained at the Kithulampitiya Children's Home.
