Lodge doubled as a brothel

Fourteen suspects including 13 women were arrested by the Organised Crime Investigation Branch of the Colombo division when they raided a brothel operated in a lodge at Dematagoda road, Maradana.

The women aged between 19 to 35 are residents of Pannipitiya, Nikaweratiya,

Lunugala, Pussellawa, Yatiyantota, Matugama, Welimada, Ambanpola, Badalkumbura and Hatton. Maradana Police produced the women before the Maligakanda Magistrate's Court yesterday.
