Lassana Flora introduces 'printed' flowers
Sri Lanka's leading florist, Lassana Flora has just revolutionized
Sri Lanka's floral industry with the introduction of printed texts and
images on the petals of flowers.
With this achievement it clinches yet another first by becoming Sri
Lanka's first-ever floral company to offer this unique service.
The Company's Managing Director Dr. Lasantha Malavige said, "This has
indeed been a long felt need in Sri Lanka's thriving floral industry and
we at Lassana Flora are happy to give the lead as Sri Lanka's first-ever
florist to introduce printed flowers to the market.
The possibilities are endless. We can now literally customize one's
flowers by printing beautiful designs and/or personalized texts or
images".
Dr. Malavige is confident that 'printed flowers' from Lassana Flora
will soon be a hit among the society. "This makes the perfect expression
of one's endearing sentiments for any, and all, special occasions that
take place throughout the year.
Birthdays, Anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day
are in fact just a few in a very long list," he asserted.
The state-of-the-art-printer is capable of printing vivid images and
texts directly onto both natural and artificial flowers thereby taking
Sri Lanka's floral industry to the next level. This is a unique
beautification strategy which literally allows the flowers to 'speak' to
the receiver.
Its rapidly expanding clientele spans a wide range of people ranging
from diplomats and corporates to wedding couples, hotels, the general
public and more.
Enjoying the reputation of being Sri Lanka's only, and South Asia's
only florist, to get ISO certification, Lassana Flora was crowned with
the Gold Award in the SME category at the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards
2012.
The Lassana Flora FaceBook Page, created in January 2010, has nearly
130,000 fans to date and has taken the success of its social networking
endeavours to the next level. |
