There was no play on the second day of the two inter-school cricket matches which was scheduled to be continued yesterday in Kandy.

At the Asgiriya Stadium Trinity College had made 146 for 7 on rain curtailed first day. But continuous rain on the second day resulted in the match being called off without a ball being bowled at 4 pm.

The inter-school cricket match between Vidyartha College and Sri Jayewardenepura Vidyalaya too suffered the same fate being called off after lunch.
