Dhanushka and Chamika have batsmen in a spin

The two left arm spin twins from St Mary's College, Kegalle -
Dhanushka Sandaruwan and Chamika Karunaratne were once again at their
destructive act and bowled their school to sixth outright win for the
season when they beat St Thomas College, Kotte by 86 runs in their
inter-school cricket match played at the Army grounds, Ambepussa
yesterday.
Dhanushka and Chamika captured 19 of the 20 wickets in the two Kotte
Thomians innings Chamika had figures of 4 for 20 and 5 for 20 in the two
innings to end up with 9 for 40.
His spin partner Dhanushka had figures of 5 for 21 and 5 for 38 to
return with match figures of 10 for 59.
Chamika has now captured 59 wickets and Dhanushka a little ahead 69
wickets for the season.
Kegalle Marians could have lost this low scoring match if not for a
match saving seventh wicket partnership of 137 between Charitha
Senaratne 55 (6 fours) and Dhanushka Sandaruwan 82 (11 fours) which
lifted the total from a hopeless position of 21 for 6 to 151 for 7.
Dhanushka once again proved to be the tormentor to the opponents.
St Thomas College, Kotte were set a victory target of 172 in 55 overs
and they made 85 after they were pegged by the spin twins.
St Mary's College: 74 all out in 28.5 overs (Anjana Jayamanne 28,
Chamika Senaratne 28, Anja Rajapakse 3 for 16, J E Austin 5 for 12) and
181 for 9 decl. In 50.1 overs (Dhanushka Sandaruwan 82, Chamika
Senaratne 55, Anja Rajapakse 4 for 37, J E Austin 2 for 68, Kalana Silva
2 for 34).
St Thomas College: 85 all out in 40 overs (J E Austin 21, Dilan
