St Sebastian’s College have already gained a first innings win and are in the box seat in their inter-school under 19 annual cricket encounter against St Sylvester’s College, Kandy played at Moratuwa.

Electing to bat Sylvestrians were bundled out for a paltry 86 runs with Hansamal Perera making the top score of 20 runs. Skipper Anushka Perera had a very fine figures of 5 for 36 runs.

At the end of day one Sebs are 157 runs for no loss with Gayan Silva and Avishka Fernando were unbeaten on 80 and 70 runs respectively.
