St. Anthony’s in final

All-rounder Sanka Lahiru hit 86 runs and steered St. Anthony’s College Wattala to a 51-run win over Thurstan College Colombo at Kotte Ananda Shrastralaya grounds to take the Anthonians to the under- 13 Division-one cricket tournament final.

St. Anthony’s College won the toss and batted first. They scored 189 with the help of Sanka’s knock which came in 98 deliveries.

In reply, Thurstanites were bundled out for 138 in the 29th over with the help of Madushan Pathirage, Sanka Lahiru and Kavidu Hettiarachchi who bagged two wickets each.

St. Anthony’s College will meet Richmend College, Galle in the final which will be played tomorrow at Thurstan ground.
