The Nayaka Thera also valued the service rendered by the institution
to the public in enhancing and implanting new knowledge, apart from its
contribution to promoting religion and to society at large. The prelate
expressed these views when Members of the Lakse House Buddhist
Association called on the Maha Nayaka after paying homage to the Sacred
Tooth Relic in Kandy. The members of the Association joined family
members who were present to offer alms to the Maha Sangha.
While paying tribute to Lake House, the Maha Nayaka Thera went onto
say that Bandula Padmakumara as Chairman of Lake House provides the true
and correct leadership to the institute while fighting against forces
that tried to hinder its progress.
"We are pleased and happy to note the invaluable service your
institute renders to this country and her people.
The Maha Sangha is very appreciative of your work. We invite all
staff members to continue their service with dedication to serve the
nation. Our blessings are with you always, the prelate said.
Lake House Buddhist Association President, Budu Sarana Editor Ceaser
