Fire caused by lightning ignites shop

Lightning in the midst of a heavy down pour ignited a grocery and fancy goods store in Chavakachcheri. The refrigerator in the shop due to a short circuit set fire to the merchandise worth several lakhs of rupees. As there was heavy rain there was none to extinguish the fire. The entire complex destroyed in fire.
