Chandrasiri’s next coming soon

Veteran film-maker Jayantha Chandrasiri, who directed award winning teledramas such as Veda Hamine, Dandubasnamanaya, Akala Sandhya and hit films like Agni Dahaya and Guerrilla Marketing will soon release his newest cinematic venture Samanala Sandhvaniya (Butterfly Symphoney). The movie is due to release on the EAP circuit immediately after Sri Siddhartha Gautama.

Samanala Sandhvaniya is produced by Ruwan Jayasinghe and Palitha Gunawardane for Rio Cinema Creation house.

It is a musical production which includes renowned actors Yashodha Wimaladharama, Damitha Abeyratne, Chathurika Peiris, Uddika Premaratne, Roger Seneviratne, Pubudu Chathuranga, Wilson Gunaratne, Roshan Pilapitiya, Rebecca Nirmali, Buddhadasa Vithanarachchi and Dimuthu Chinthaka.

Ruwan Costa handles the camera of this production. Ravindra Guruge is the editor of the film with Dharsana Dissanayake handling the music, Wasantha Vittachchi being in charge of make-up, Rohan Samarawickrama as art director, Nimal Francis and Sarath Senaratne as assistant directors, Prasanna Itthepana as the production manager and Nimal Wijesiri as the executive producer.
