Pvt. security personnel wages up by 30 %

The wages of private security personnel has been revised with a 30 % increase being granted, by the Wages Board decision which has been approved by the Minister of Labour Relations and Manpower.

This decision has come into effect from January 1, said Ajith Jayasekera Executive Committee Member Media Relations. The wage increase will benefit over 100,000 security personnel employed in private security services.
