Tharaka hits fine ton

Tharaka Somatilleke scored a fine 108 with 12 four off 155 balls for Kegalu Vidyalaya in their school under 19 cricket tournament match against Ibbagamuwa Central College which began at Ibbagamuwa yesterday. The match will be continued today at 10 a.m.

This was Tharaka Somatilleke’s second hundred for the season and is nearing the 500 run mark. His fine knock helped Kegalu Vidyalaya to score 280 for 9 decl. others who batted well for Kegalu Vidyalaya were Samadhi Dassanayake 56 not out, Krishan Narammala 38 and Bimshendra Ranaweera 39.

At close Ibbagamuwa Central had replied with 17 for 2 in 10 overs.
