Lakshan anchors Gurukula

An elegant knock of 84 runs by Lisula Lakshana which included 10 hits to the rope and one over and occupying the crease for 170 minutes and facing 148 balls enabled Gurukula Vidyalya, Kelaniya to score 219 runs in their inter-schools under 19 cricket match against Maris Stella College, Negombo and played at prisons grounds. Incidentally this is Lakshan’s fifth half century for the season. The Day one had to be called off at 3.30 p.m. Due to heavy shower and Maris Stella were 8 for 1.

Skipper Nalin Perera and Roshan Anuraddha Contributed 143 and 38 runs respectively while Shehan Chaturanga claimed 4 for 38 for Maris Stella.
