SLFI journalism diploma for school leavers

The Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI) will commence a diploma in Journalism and Effective Communication for school leavers and those who aspire to become journalists.

Lectures for the Diploma in Journalism and Effective Communication course will be conducted in English with explanation in Sinhala medium. An opportunity will also be provided in the Tamil language for students wishing to do so. This course will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays each week from 9 am to 4 pm for one year commencing February 24, 2013.

The prime objective of designing a course of this calibre is to cater to the youth based on modern journalistic methods.
