Free Style Basketball storms into local courts

Free Style Basketball Club conducts the Free Style Basketball Series, the most modern concept in Sri Lankan basketball culture. The tournament will be carried out for Three Days and is set out to attract the best athletes across country and to promote Free Style Basketball.

The Series will feature Formalized version of three against three (3X3) tournament, Slam Dunk and three-point contest. Cash Prizes are given to teams that in each bracket.

Elite Division champion will be awarded Rs 40,000.00 and Runner up will get Rs 20,000.00. Open Division Champions will be given Rs 30,000.00 and Runner up Rs 15,000.00.

Also the Slam Dunk winner will receive LKR 15,000 in addition a Challenge Trophy while the three point contest winner will receive Rs 10,000 cash prize.

The 3X3 tournament will be conducted in two divisions Elite and Open, whereas the Elite Division is designed for Division 'A' athletes and national players while the Open Division is for any athletes.

The School Division includes participants from Invited schools only and will be worked off in separate boys' and girls categories.

As in for the First time in Sri Lanka all teams participating are considered to be mixed teams and every team must have at least two male participants and two female participants on the court at all times.
