Burglars remanded

Two suspects involved in a recent robbery of butt hinges and household items valued at Rs 25,000 from a house in Guruwala, had been arrested by the Dompe Police, who also recovered the stolen goods.

The suspects from Avissawella and Hanwella, were produced before the Pugoda Magistrate G L Priyantha and remanded.

The burgled house had been auctioned by the People's Bank. The Police team which made the arrest was led by OIC, Dompe Police, IP, F Udayakumara Wootler.
