Prince of Wales College beat St Sylvester’s College, Kandy by 105 runs and booked a berth in the quarter-finals of the inter-school Under 13 division one tournament cricket match conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and worked off at Moratuwa.

Cambrians taking the first lease scored 203 runs with Charith Sandaruwan making the top score of 47 while Samindu Sanjeewa and Kavishka Weerasinghe scored 36 and 29 runs respectively. Isuru Landewala took 4 for 46 for the visitors and in reply Sylvestrians were bowled out for a paltry 98 runs with Sandun Fernando claiming 3 for 5 runs.
