Innings win for Johnians

St John’s College, Panadura scored an innings and nine runs win over
Kingswood College, Kandy in their schools under 19 cricket tournament
match concluded at Police Grounds, Kandy yesterday.
The Kingswoodians were trailing behind on first innings 124 runs and
they had to bat for 44 overs but they folded up for 115. It was poor
batting which let them down especially in the first innings when they
lost their first 4 wickets for 3 runs.
Kingswood College 123 all out in 45.3 overs (Prabath Piyasena 24,
Pubudu Bandara 54, Lahiru Sanjaya 3 for 36, S Prabath 2 for 5, Chamila
