George Steuart Finance commences operations in Kandy

Rapidly expanding George Steuart Finance PLC opens its 7th branch, in Senkadagalapura, through which the company would promote effective financial solutions.

George Steuart Finance PLC is located at the Kandy City Centre, No 05, Dalada Veediya, Kandy.

The branch was opened by the Chief Guest Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Senior Minister for International Monetary Co-operation and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, and the Special Guest invitees Dilum Amunugama, Member of Parliament, Thusitha Wijesena, Chairman of Property Finance and Investments Limited, Prof. Arjuna De Silva Chairman of George Steuart Finance PLC and Board of Directors of George Steuart Fianance PLC, along with their management, staff, customers and well-wishers.

Speaking at the opening, Lakshman Uduwara, Director/CEO, George Steuart Finance said, "Our directors have been keen to reach out to the enterprising rural youth and support them with financial assistance and managerial/technical inputs to improve their economic fortunes. Hence, the decision to establish in Kandy and help upliftment of economic fortunes of the Kandyan people."
