The choice to establish the new Development Group in Sri Lanka is
borne from Pronto’s already strong ties with the country.
“Pronto’s Research and Development team has a strong connection to
Sri Lanka, with many of our team of Sri Lankan descent.
Sri Lanka has a fast growing ICT industry and a good pool of IT
talent, particularly in the area of mobility.
The Sri Lanka Development Group will focus on adapting Pronto’s
enterprise software so it works better with mobile apps on devices such
as smartphones and tablets,” said Chad Gates, Development Manager,
Pronto Software.
“The investment by Pronto is a boost to Sri Lanka’s emerging ICT
industry.
We are excited to see more innovation come out of our IT talent
here,” said Omer A Fareed, President, Amazai Group.
R&D is a key focus for Pronto. Besides the opening of the new Sri
Lanka Development Group, the company also recently expanded its R&D
operations in Australia. The Australian based R&D team focuses on
innovating the core Pronto Xi ERP product suite and infrastructure
applications.”

strengthen Pronto’s capability to expand our product portfolio and
deliver software solutions that are innovative, flexible to suit unique
