Will the sun rise at 6 pm and set at 6am one day in the future?

(Extracts of the dissertation prepared for Doctor of Philosophy degree on natural Sciences)
L.B.C.Jayavilal

The circumference of the Earth at the Equator is 24,901.55 miles. The Earth rotates in about 23 hours 56 minutes and 4.09053 seconds. But we usually say that the earth rotates in about 24 hours or in one day. Therefore, if you were to hang above the surface of the Earth at the Equator without moving, you would see 24,901.55 miles pass by in 23 hours 56 minutes and 4.09053 seconds at a speed of 0.289001 miles per second.

L.B.C.Jayavilal

Therefore, the earth rotates its full circumference (24,901.55 miles) and another 68.17807 miles around its axis in 24 hours. (In the balance 235.90947 seconds x 0.289001 miles)Generally, we assume that the sun rises at 6 am and sets at 6 pm. At 12 noon the Sun arises over our head. By nearly 12 midnight the Sun will be in the other side of the earth directly under our feet. Within this period of 12 hours the earth rotates half of its circumference (12450.775 miles) around its axis.

Therefore, a person on Earth who focused his eyes towards the sun upright at 12 noon would face the Sun upright again on the following day at 11:56 : 4.09053 am. At 12 noon the sight of the person will be little away from the sun as the earth rotates another 3.9318245 minutes to complete 24 hours. Also in this period the Earth will move further 68.178072 miles after completing its full circumference.

Thereby the person starts its journey for the second day from the point where he is now and after another 24 hour she reaches to the point beyond 136.356145 miles away from the original point (where he was on day 1) towards the sun. In order to understand these please look at the diagram 1. The Earth rotates in about 23 hours 56 minutes and 4.09053 seconds around its axis. In other words it rotates complete one circle (360 degrees) by 23 Hours 56 minutes and 4.09053 seconds. Therefore in 1 second it rotates 0.0041780 degrees. The additional time the earth rotates per day is 235.90947 seconds. Thereby the earth rotates an additional 0.985647 degrees (Nearly 1 degree) after completing one full circle.

I explained before that the earth moves an additional 68.178072 miles per day in 24 hours, and in 182 days it completes additional 50% of the earth’s circumference. Secondly I explained that the earth rotates an additional 0.985647 degrees (Nearly 1 degree) after completing one full circle. Accordingly by 182 days it covers 179.387821 (nearly 180 degrees) in addition to its normal number of rotations.According to the two explanations above, after 182 days the Sun will have to rise at 6 in the evening from the West and set at 6 in the morning from East. But this has not happened ever in the past. Why?

The Earth is not stationary and doing a lot more than rotating, although that is certainly the motion we notice most, because day follows night as a result. The earth also orbits the Sun once a year. The earth takes 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 46 seconds (365.242199 days) to make a full revolution around the sun. In other words the earth completes 360 degree rotation around the sun in 365.242199 days.

Additional rotation

In order to find the answer to above question please look at the diagram 1again. After 24 hours the sight of the man is not targeted to the sun because of additional rotation of the earth as explained before. But focusing his eyes constant to the same direction if he moves to the right side there is a point from which he can see the sun upright again. Please look at diagram 3 to understand this.Diagram 3 (a) illustrated that the man looked upright the sun has been changed his direction due to the rotation of earth after 24 hours. Now his direction is away from the sun. Diagram 3 (b) illustrated that the earth is shifted with the man to right side until his direction targeted to the sun upright.

Now we will try to find out the distance the man has moved to his right to see the sun upright again. For that I have used the following data which have been discovered and proved by scientists.1. At its nearest point on the ellipse that is the earth's orbit around the sun, the earth is 91,445,000 miles from the sun. 2. The earth is farthest away from the sun when it is 94,555,000 miles from the sun.3. Sun the solar diameter is approximately 865000 milesI used the above data and drew the diagram4 to the scale of 100000 miles = 1 millimeter.

Here, the earth’s diameter is not taken into consideration because it is negligible when comparing with the other distances. And I used a software application to draw this diagram. If we then measure the distance to check how far we have shifted this line, it can be realized that it is 15.80517 millimeters. So the actual distance will be 1580517miles as the scale we taken was 100000 miles = 1 millimeter. Therefore the man stands on earth will face the sun upright again after earth is traveled 1580517miles, and this is the distance that the earth revolves around the sun per day or in 24 hours. Remember this is at its nearest point the earth orbits around the sun. In the same way if we measured the distance the earth orbits farthest away from the sun it could be measured as 1650268miles.

We discovered earlier that the earth rotates an additional 0.985647 degrees after completing one full circle in 24 hours. Therefore the straight line from earth towards the sun AB (The line shown the distance from earth to sun) will be turned 0.985647 degrees towards the left side from its bottom point B.

The new direction makes the line BC and BC is shifted to the right until its upper point C is pointed to the centre of the sun again. The new line is shown as XY.

We now can calculate the number of miles the earth revolves around the sun in a year by multiplying these two figures by 365.2421 days. (The exact number of days in a year)1. At its nearest point on the earth's orbit around the sun, the earth travels 1580517miles x 365.2421 = 577271348.1657 miles per year.2. At its farthest point on the earth's orbit around the sun, the earth travels 1650268miles x 365.2421 = 602747501.4582miles per year. Therefore the average distance of the circumference of the earth’s orbit is 577271348.1657+602747501.4582 =1180018849.6239/2 = 590009424.8119 milesAccording to this the average distance the earth travels per day is 590009424.8119/365.2421= 1615392.7074miles.

Here is another method to answer our question about how the natural law has been adjusted to keep day time and night constant.

We realized that the earth rotates additional 0.985647 degrees after completing 360 degrees in 24 hours. Therefore the complete rotation per 24 hours is 360.985647. As well as we know the earth revolves 360 degrees around the sun in 365.2421 days. Therefore the angle, the earth revolves around the sun per 24 hours is 360/365.2421 = 0.985647 degrees which is exactly similar to the additional rotation of the earth rotates around its axis per 24 hours. This is the compelling relationship that adjusts the time and let the sun to irradiate the earth in constant time ranges continuously.

If this similarity changes by any reason, the lives on earth will be in trouble as the sun will rise at 6 pm. from west after certain number of years. In terms of this the nature uses to drift the earth somewhere around 1615392.7074miles around the sun per day with an angle of 0.985647 degrees.

Correlation

The above innovation depicted the correlation among earth and sun though they laid far away each other in our galaxy. In order to understand these please look at the diagram 5.If we take ABC isosceles triangle into consideration it finds that the distance of BC as 1580517.18 which is the distance that the earth revolves around the sun per 24 hours or in a day. (This is at its nearest point the earth orbits around the sun)As we found earlier at its farthest point on the earth's orbit around the sun, the earth travels 1650268 miles per day….. Therefore the average distance the earth travels per day is 1580517 + 1650268 / 2 = 1615392.5 miles.

Thereby the man standing on earth is going to be seeing the sun immediately overhead after 24 hours at 12 noon, but not at 12 midnight. The natural law has drifted the earth for about 1615392.5 miles without his notice in order to make the right angel by which he could be able to see the sun upright without moving. The main objective of the presentment of this mathematical phenomenon is to identify the mysterious link between earth and sun because; it is the factor that leads to origination of the creatures on earth, climate transformation and so on.

We know that the plants always attempt to grow towards the direction from where they can accrue sun light. Sunflower got its name because it turns to the direction where the sun remains. Plants largely uptake Carbon dioxide and release oxygen during the day and uptake oxygen and release CO{-2} during the night. And out of all can we live without the sun or under the sun during whole 24 hours? Perhaps we may able to answer all these questions if we can find an answer to the question that,“What influenced the earth to drift particular distance and make exactly similar angle with the sun that makes with its additional rotation after completing one full circle around its axis”.It would help to introduce the next source of power which could substantially change the life style of creatures on earth and economy.
