Dilly’s Fashion to expand with Rs. 70 mn investment

Dilly’s Fashion Pvt Ltd, hopes to open more shops with an investment
of Rs. 70 million by the end of February 2013, the exclusive clothing
shop newly re-branded as ‘Dilly & Carlo’ will be closer to its customers
with their two new shops situated at the Dutch Hospital) and in Flower
Road.

“We have invested Rs. 30 million on our shop situated in the new
section of the Dutch hospital and around Rs. 40 million on the Flagship
store at Flower road,” Director, Dilly’s Fashion Pvt Ltd, Rohen
Wijesekara told Daily News Business.These two shops will complement the
other shops at Bullers Road, Liberty Plaza and at the Crescat Boulevard.
Speaking about re-brading, Wijesekara said that ‘Dilly’s’ and ‘Carlo’
are two brands that had carved a name for itself, thus the union of
these two will attract more customers as it now will provide clothes
without gender restrictions, showcasing trendy clothing for all age
groups. With a comprehensive selection of six unique label voyages, the
Moods Collection, Formal, Tammy, Carlo and Carlo Boy.
“Our concept behind this was to make Dilly’s a clothing shop that
will provide clothes for both men and women and thus the union of these
two brands will provide a family experience for our customers,” he said.
Dilly’s & Carlo hopes to provide its customers the best at reasonable
prices, The director also said that the impression many people have
regarding the shop is that the prices are high, however the intention is
to approach the customers to make them aware of the reasonable pricing
they have.”
