Joys of the season
Carols by candle-light
Faces aglow
Medley of voices
Vibrantly soar
The sparkling tree
With its glittering lights
The radiant appeal
In the eyes of a child
Rapt in delight
At the wondrous sight
Jolly Old Santa
A ubiquitous sight
Bestowing largesse
Left and right
To orphan and patient
And those in need
Who know nothing about
What Christmas means
Bringing good cheer
Dispelling the pall
To the old and the lonely
Away from it all
Who hardly know
It's Christmas time at all'
The goodwill, the fellowship
Shared and shared alike
Gifts and cards of
remembrance
Bering wishes blithe
The quiet crib in the corner
Exudes a peaceful air
All the joy the season
brings
Is embodied there.
